The Island Estates Civic Association is holding its annual membership drive. This voluntary association represents residents and businesses on Island Estates who have a common interest on important issues affecting the quality of life in the community. The Association also conducts many activities including Town Hall Meetings, Spring and Fall Social events, Holiday lighting contests and a Holiday dinner cruise to name a few. A first quarter Newsletter was recently mailed with a membership application that was in error. The application read for "2005 Membership" when in fact it is for "2006" membership. Any member sending in their application on this form will be considered a "2006" member. Residents membership fee is $25.00, Businesses are $40.00 per year.
