The Island Estates Civic Association is holding its first Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, February 21st for its community citizens to hear Progress Energy representatives discuss "Moving Your Neighborhood to Underground Utilities". The discussion will review what is involved and what the impact is both from a financial standpoint and the pro's and con's of having utilities underground. All residents of Island Estates are urged to attend and be heard.
The meeting will be held at St. Brendan's Church at 245 Dory Passage, Island Estates beginning at 7:00 PM.
