Indoor Air Quality Topic Of County Extension Program

A growing body of scientific evidence indicates the air people breathe inside their homes can be more seriously contaminated with dangerous pollutants than outdoor air in many U.S. cities. To compound the problem, most people spend approximately 90 percent of their time indoors with pollutant levels of indoor air sometimes higher than what is permitted by federal regulations in outdoor air.

A program, 10 a.m., on Saturday, March 11, at Weedon Island Education Center, will help participants understand this problem and get a better handle on indoor environmental sir quality.

The cost of the program is $5, payable by check only. To register for the program, call 582-2673.
