The Metropolitan Planning Organization wants to hear your ideas about how to make Pinellas County a more bicycle and pedestrian friendly community.
The MPO will host a public workshop to collect citizen comments concerning bicycle and pedestrian travel in Pinellas County. The event will be held on Tuesday, March 14, from 5-7 p.m. at the historic Largo Feed Store, 295 Central Park Drive, located behind Largo's Cultural Center. Issues identified at this meeting will be addressed in Pinellas County's Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.
County residents who are unable to participate in the workshop can review and comment on the proposed plan between April 3 and April 11 on the internet. The plan will be submitted for approval at the April 12 MPO meeting.
Disabled citizens needing special accommodations may request assistance on or before March 10. For information, or assistance, go to www.pinellascounty.org/mpo or call 484-8200.
