Clearwater Beach, Fla.—More than 350 real estate professionals and prospective buyers attended a Wednesday, March 22nd evening pre-construction bash at the future site of Flamingo Bay, a condominium and townhouse development on Clearwater Beach.
“It was quite a successful evening,” said Roland Rogers, owner of Rogers Beach Development. “Not only did everyone have a great time at the party, but more importantly, units were sold.”
He said Flamingo Bay, one of several Clearwater Beach projects being developed by his company, is especially desirable because of its deep-water access to the intercoastal and the availability of several private boat slips on site.
“As everyone in this area knows, boat slips are getting harder and harder to come by,” Rogers said. “At Flamingo Bay, though, some residents will have the rare opportunity to house their watercraft right outside their doors.”
General partner and real estate broker Terry Williams of RBD Realty said Flamingo Bay will have 25 waterfront condos and two waterfront townhomes. Individual residences range in size from 1,694 square feet to 2,784 square feet, and each has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Prices begin in the mid-$800,000’s.
“These are definitely going to be luxurious homes,” Williams said. “Not only will interiors have the finest finishes, but the exterior will be equally lavish with Mediterranean style architecture, a waterside swimming pool, and a private rooftop terrace and spa.”
Attendees at Wednesday’s event followed a tiki torch-lit path to the registration tent where they were greeted with leis and information packets before moving on to the festivities.
Island Way Grill provided food, drink and steel drum entertainment for the evening, as well as the four $100 gift certificates that RBD Realty gave out as prizes in the drawing. In addition, Clearwater Beach Title and Fifth Third Bank had staff available to answer questions about financing.
“Clearwater Beach is paradise; and I know the residences at Flamingo Bay won’t last long,” Williams said. “In fact, we are very close to selling out!”
