Area Pool Opens With A Splash

Nearly 300 children and adults were on hand for the "Family Picnic" Pool Day marking the re-opening of the Highland Family Aquatic Center in Largo on April 22. The pool will be open for recreational swimming Saturdays and Sundays through May 14. Hours on Saturday are 11 a.m.-1 p.m., 1:30-3:30 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Sunday hours are 1:30-3:30 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. For information on days and hours beginning May 15, call 518-3018.
