Homeless Children's Carwash Benefits American Cancer Society

CLEARWATER - A child's resilience to some of life's great obstacles is truly a wonder. A glowing example of this strength is reflected in the efforts of the children living at the Homeless Emergency Project, Inc. (HEP), in Clearwater.

On Saturday, May 20, in the parking lot of the HEP Thrift Store at 1212 North Betty Lane, these remarkable children will hold a Charity Car Wash to raise money for the American Cancer Society along with additional funds for the KEY to Succeed Organic Vegetable Garden "breaking ground" this summer.

Join them from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon for this memorable event and enjoy complimentary fresh squeezed lemonade from the children's lemonade stand.

HEP is a non-profit organization that has helped individuals and families with children in Pinellas County for over 30 years and is located at 1120 North Betty Lane in Clearwater. For further information on the Charity Car Wash or to learn more about HEP's program, call 727-442-9041.
