Hemerick's Cruise With Antique Classic Boat Society
Myra and David Hemerick cruised with the Antique Classic Boat Society in their 1946 antique Chris Craft speed boat. David spent two years restoring this classic boat. The Club cruised from Mt. Dora, up the Oklawaha River to Silver Springs, a 50-mile journey through Florida's rivers. They weaved their way through scenic canals filled with alligators, turtles, ospreys, eagles and even wild monkeys of the Ocala National Forest. The antique boats were on display at the Silver Springs by invitation for the weekend.
