Wine, Cheese, And CAIRing

CLEARWATER - The Belleview Biltmore Hotel Golf, Beach and Spa Resort has invited CAIR Flight as the featured non-profit organization at their First Friday event on June 2. The public is invited to visit the hotel at 25 Belleview Boulevard and enjoy wine and cheese from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will be held in the hotel's beautiful Tiffany Ballroom.

The hotel began First Friday earlier this year to attract the local community to the historic Belleview Biltmore and create awareness for their many functions and amenities. This is the second time that they have included a non-profit organization. In May it was the Children's Dream Foundation. Donations for the non-profit were collected at the door.

Vann Dennis, one of the hotel's Directors, met CAIR Flight's Executive Director at the recent Clearwater Rotary's Kingfish Tournament, another charity event that supports local non-profit organizations. Dennis was intrigued with the charitable airlift organization after talking to Wilson and promised to keep in touch.

"When I realized that CAIR Flight's pilots and volunteers are right here in our community to help others receive special care and get to their destination at no cost, I knew this was an organization that the Belleview Biltmore would be interested in showcasing," Dennis said.

Whether it is bringing patients to any one of Tampa Bay's prestigious medical facilities or bringing a patient across the state to another specialized clinic, CAIR Flight assists those who are unable to fly commercial airlines due to health reasons, distance, or finances. The pilots all donate their time, skills, and personal aircraft to the non-profit organization to help others in need.

Attend the Belleview Biltmore's First Friday event June 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. And meet pilots and volunteers with CAIR Flight.
