Artist Davison Welch, who took up painting when he retired in 1975, displays his original watercolors at the recent annual Block Party in the Harbor Oaks neighborhood of Clearwater. The event on the grounds of Church of the Ascension also featured a variety of vendors, an antique car show, crafts, a moonwalk and dunking booth, a bake sale, plant sale, barbecue and more. Welch's prints featuring Fenway Park were a big hit with Red Sox fans in attendance.
