On Wednesday, July 12, the Clearwater Christian Women's Club is hosting a "Salute our Heroes" luncheon at the beautiful Cove Cay Country Club on the northwest corner of U.S. 19 and Haines Bayshore in Clearwater.
Peter Nehr will present the history of the American flag, and there will be a patriotic musical tribute given by Janna Worsham, oboist, and Emily Worsham, pianist. The guest speaker will be Sharon Kiser of Winter Haven, a gifted writer and weaver of life changing stories.
All women are welcome. The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. For reservations call Ruth at 797-5922 or Judy at 797-5313 by July 7. The cost is $15 inclusive.
