TARPON SPRINGS - The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art (LRMA) extends an invitation to the public to attend the opening reception for A Celebration of Geometric Art Saturday July 8, from 8 to 10 p.m. The cost to attend the opening reception is free to Museum members and $10 per person for non-members.
LRMA presents a Gallery Walk with Volf Roitman on Sunday, July 9, at 2 p.m., in the Museum's North and South galleries. Renowned Uruguayan artist Roitman will walk you through the current exhibition, A Celebration of Geometric Art which includes his work in addition to work by other important MADI artists. The walk is free to all.
The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art is located just west of Highway 19 at 600 Klosterman Road on the Tarpon Springs Campus of St. Petersburg College. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday; evening hours are Thursday, 5 to 9, and Sunday hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and free to children and students with ID. Sunday admission and 2 p.m. docent tours are free to all. The Museum is closed major holidays.
