The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program of St. Petersburg needs volunteers at the following organizations:
Children's Home Society - Volunteers are needed for the MODEL Mentoring Program. The program is designed to provide mentors for youth between 4-15 who have an incarcerated parent. The mentor and child will explore their community and the resources it has.
PARC - Volunteers are need to work at PARC Thrift Store on 66th Street N., to assist at the preschool on 75th Street N., and also at the Fine Arts Studio on Tyrone Blvd.
Lighthouse of Pinellas - Volunteers are needed for office/secretarial duties, assisting with activities, delivering mail, visiting with residents - reading, helping to write letters.
Science Center of Pinellas - Volunteers are needed for office/clerical duties, greeters/docents, cashiers and sales in the store, special events, and more.
Volunteers are also needed at the following organizations: Palm Garden of Largo, Radiant Peace International Museum, The Woods Museum, Equal Rights Alliance, Ronald McDonald House, St. Petersburg Pregnancy & Family Resource Center and American Cancer Society.
