CLEARWATER BEACH - Have a suspicious mole you want checked out? H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute and Morton Plant Hospital will have a team of skin-cancer specialists providing free cancer screenings to interested beach-goers August 12. The Mole Patrol takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pier 60 Pavilion on Clearwater Beach.
Doctors providing the screening include Moffitt's Vernon Sondak, Jonathon Zagar, Jane Messina and Frank Glass from the University of South Florida. Doctors from Morton Plant will participate in the screening also.
