HEP 2006 Charity Golf Tournament to be held at Belleair Country Club

On Thursday, October 5, Homeless Emergency Project, Inc. (HEP) will hold its Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the prestigious Belleair Country Club. The event will help raise funds to build a much needed new and expanded dining facility for HEP residents.

HEP is recognized as the largest and most comprehensive homeless rehabilitation center in Pinellas County offering its 240 residents, consisting of individuals and families with children, access to emergency, transitional and permanent supportive housing along with a wide array of holistic support services.

In 2005, HEP served over 55,000 nutritious hot meals. As the campus expands to meet the increasing demand for shelter beds, HEP has undertaken efforts to build a larger kitchen and dining facility for residents of the HEP community. All proceeds from the Charity Golf Tournament will go directly to the building of this facility.

HEP is currently seeking volunteers, participants and sponsors for this exciting event. To learn more about HEP and opportunities to become involved with this event, please contact HEP Community relations Coordinator, Rebecca Lett, at 727-442-9041, or rlett@ethep.org. The HEP campus is located at 1120 North Betty Lane in Clearwater or visit HEP on the Web at www.ethep.org.
