Evelyn Sayers, seated, is surrounded by fellow parishioners in the social hall at Highland Presbyterian Church in Largo on Sunday. The occasion was a party in celebration of her 100th birthday. Those attending enjoyed lunch and birthday cake. The daughter of Frank and Cora Hull was born on September 8, 1906, in Chicago, Illinois. She was married to Glenn P. Sayers in 1932 and they lived in Illinois for over 60 years before his passing in 1994. She moved to Largo the following year. Mrs. Sayers has had a lifelong interest in music. She sings and plays the piano and at one time performed at weddings, bar mitzvahs, birthday parties and other special events.
