Beach Walk construction is moving right along. The contractor has encountered unexpected issues along the way but is working to make up as much time as possible and finish the project as planned. The goal is still to finish Phase I on time.
A chain link fence is in place on the eastside of Coronado Drive to help keep pedestrians safe and direct them when they cross the street. Traffic remains on the east right-of-way of Coronado Drive between Fifth and First streets. All side streets are open except for Fifth Street, which is closed on the west side of the Coronado intersection. After the current work is completed, workers will continue on the westside of the road, moving south on Coronado Drive.
