GBYWS President Cheri DeCollibus greeted and welcomed over 60 Greater Belleair Young Women's Society members and guests on Sept 7 at Island Way Grill for the first meeting of the 2006-2007 society year.
New members Jody Barnum, Kathy Lazzeri, Carol Morgan and Kinnear Smith were in attendance and introduced. Upcoming events were announced including a Jimmy Buffett Party at Clearwater Yacht Club on Sept 16 for members and spouses.
Intentions and plans to have a team participate in the April 20-21, 2007 American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Greater Belleair were presented and approved by unanimous membership vote.
The club holds monthly meetings in various locations and homes throughout the Greater Belleair area. Smaller groups meet throughout the month for Lunch Bunch, Girls' Night Out, Bunko, Scrabble, Culinary Critics, and Book Club.
