LARGO - At their opening meeting on October 19, Fine Arts Society members and guests will hear Laura Deloach, the new Exhibition and Restoration Coordinator speak on the art collection of the Gulf Coast Museum of Art. The meeting will be held in the Museum at 12211 Walsingham Road, Largo, at 9:30 a.m. with a coffee session, followed by the speaker at 10. The meeting is open to the public; guests are welcome.
The Fine Art Society, a group of ladies and gentlemen interested in learning about and fostering art education in Pinellas Country, meets monthly from October to May, at various museums and art studios in the country. FAS also supports Fine Art Education for children and adults by raising money via fundraising events, one of which is a Fashion Show Luncheon to be held at the Belleview Biltmore on December 11.
