
The Show House 2006 is a collaboration of the Interior Design Society, Selby Gardens and the Mayor’s Feed the Hungry Program. The Show House is a new Gulf-side home located at 904 Pomelo Avenue on the Hudson Bayou, near Selby Gardens. This fundraising event is open to the public October 21, through November 17, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. There will also be several special evening fundraising parties. Shuttle service from Selby Gardens to the house will be available during the entire event.
Saturday, November 18, the house will be open only to Selby Gardens members, free of charge during our Annual Members Day event. Interior designers will be on-site for visitors this day.
Volunteers are needed for the following jobs throughout this 29 day event: room monitors, ticket sales, greeters, shuttle drivers, party assistants, transportation coordinators
Volunteers are asked to attend an orientation meeting Wednesday, September 27, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Robb & Stuckey located at 7557 S. Tamiami.
