Tuesday, October 10 is the voter registration deadline for anyone voting in the November 7th General Election. To help register as many people as possible before that deadline, Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark is scheduling numerous voter registration sites throughout the county during the week of October 1.
Registration events are scheduled at all 21 Pinellas County Blockbuster Video stores this weekend. A voter registration event list with locations and schedules is available at www.votepinellas.com.
Any business wishing to schedule a voter registration event may contact the Supervisor of Elections Voter Education Department at (727) 464-5700. There is no charge for this community service.
Citizens who are already registered to vote are encouraged to update any name, address, party or signature changes to their voter information. Address changes within the county may be made by telephone. Other updates may be made by completing and signing a Voter Registration Application with the changes noted. Updates may also be made at any voter registration event.
Registration is always available during regular business hours at any public library or driver license office, or at any government office handling social services or disabilities.
All registered voters may vote in all races that include their precinct, regardless of party affiliation in the General Election.
