
Dove Award Winning Bluegrass/Gospel recording artist The Isaacs will be featured in an exciting event, set to take place at the First Baptist Church of Indian Rock in Largo, FL. The Isaacs will be featured on Saturday, November 4 at 6:00pm.
This popular family group, comprised of family matriarch Lily Isaacs, son Ben Isaacs, daughters Sonya Isaacs and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman, as well as son-in-law John Bowman, originally organized 30 years ago. Their musical influences encompass varying musical genres, including bluegrass, rhythm and blues, contemporary acoustic and Southern Gospel, creating a unique style of their own, as they marry bluegrass harmonies and instrumentation with modern Gospel lyrics. This unique style has captured the hearts of listeners nationwide. Honors and accolades have flowed their way in bunches. In 2005, they received a Dove Award from the Gospel Music Association, as well as two International Bluegrass Music Association Award nominations. They have enjoyed regular appearances on the famed Grand Ole Opry, and throughout 2006, in addition to their own concert events, the group will perform in excess of 60 dates on the highly successful Gaither Homecoming Tour with Gospel Music Hall of Fame songwriter Bill Gaither.
On Saturday, November 4, this nationally acclaimed musical family, who is enshrined in the International Country Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame, will bring its unique musical presentation to the First Baptist Church of Indian Rock in Largo, FL.
