
On October 30, the Resort will conduct Historical Tours followed by a frightening trip through a haunted house. The historical tours will start at the main lobby and lead throughout the property. Costumed guides will tell various tales of the resort's 109-year history as guests get a full tour of the unique properties, magnificent ballrooms, hidden passageways, and underground tunnels. The tour leaves off at the Sunset Cottage located on the north end of the property; this is when the terror begins as guests enter a haunted house. The tours will begin at 7 p.m. and last throughout the evening until 11 p.m. Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
On Halloween, October 31, the historical tours and haunted house will be available from 7 to 11 p.m. In addition to the tours several family friendly activities will be taking place among the resort's main promenade. There will be a pizza party (for the KIDS only) in the magnificent Starlight Ballroom from 5 to 10 p.m.; $10 per child. The pizza party will include several games and activities for kids, including a costume contest pumpkin painting, Kids' Halloween movies. (PG-13) with popcorn will be shown in the ballroom at 6, 8 and 19 p.m. Also, kids will be taken in small groups to several different parts of the hotel for Trick or Treating.
