CLEARWATER - The Golda Meir/Kent Jewish Center, as part of its ongoing effort to bring valuable family programming to the community, has teamed up with Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services to hold a divorce support group for children, ages 9-14. This group meets every Monday 6:30-7:30 p.m.
This valuable children's support group will be led by Carolyn Sperber MS., LPC., CAC from Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services.
Children have a difficult time adjusting to change or loss. If your child is living without both parents in the house full time, this group may be for them. This group will help your child deal with the changes that are going on around them. Your child is not alone; in this group they will meet other children going through similar situations. The children will have a safe, non-judgmental environment where they can share their thoughts and feelings with other children dealing with similar situations.
