Do you want to help a girl succeed in life? Do you have business skills you'd be willing to share with her? Are you looking for a short-term way to make a difference as a volunteer?
The Girl Scouts of Suncoast Council needs you! We are looking for mentors for girls in our Innovative Delivery programs to guide those girls through the annual Cookie Sale Program.
Through our Innovative Delivery initiatives, we offer girls the chance to participate in Girl Scout activities not previously available because of a lack of adult volunteers. Girls in unserved and underserved segments of the population have an opportunity to benefit from Girl Scouting.
We need mentors throughout Suncoast Council (Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties) to guide these girls through the annual Cookie Sale Program. Through the program, girls learn teamwork, goal-setting, money management, and many other life skills.
Mentors will assist girls through the Cookie Sale Program, which begins in January and concludes in March.
