LIADO, The Italian-American Women of Today, announces its 2007 Scholarship Program. Each year LIADO awards $1000 Scholarships to graduating high school students, students continuing in good standing at an accredited college, and those returning to college seeking a degree. Scholarships are open to all students of Italian descent.
Founded in 1993, LIADO, The Italian-American Women of Today, is the only all Italian-American women's organization in the State of Florida. It is LIADO's objective to assist students in achieving their goals of higher education. Over the years they have proudly awarded $25,000 in scholarships to deserving students through the LIADO Scholarship Program.
