The Island Estate Yacht Club held a day at Tampa Bay Downs Race Track on January 27th. Forty-seven members and guests enjoyed an afternoon of great weather, a dry track, and spirited horse racing. The event was chaired by Commodore Tom Smith and his wife, Joyce. Attendees dined on a buffet lunch in the comfortable confines of the luxury Skybox room. The fourth race was run in honor of Island Estate Yacht Club.
The next Island Estates Yacht Club event is "Viva Lost Vegas" scheduled for February 17th at the Casino SPECKtacular on Island Estates.
