CLEARWATER - Communities can probably always be improved, so it is laudable news that County Commissioners are hosting a discussion of issues affecting women/families in this county. The purpose is to "gain input from everyone" about the challenges faced as a woman in the community, if any, as well as solutions achieved.
The free Forum will be held on Monday, February 26, beginning at 5:30 with a reception, until 8 p.m. The location is the Clearwater Main Library, 100 Osceola Avenue, Clearwater, in Rooms A and B. For directions, call 727 562-4970. RSVP to Joan Chamo at 727 464-3485.
Your Commissioners are reaching out to you. People of Pinellas County may wish to take this opportunity to meet with them and other community women about women's issues as you see them, or whether there should be ongoing meetings.
