Pro Surfer Cory Lopez's "Nekton Surf Shop" is sponsoring a Pro/Am Skim Board Contest, Saturday, March 10th, Indian Rocks Beach, at the 17th Ave. beach access and Gulf Blvd. - $1,000 pro purse and $500 winner take all for "Best Air." Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 competitors in all divisions. The competition begins at 9 a.m. and continues throughout the day.
The Awards Ceremony and after party are at Nekton Surf Shop - 1313 Gulf Blvd. (at 14th Ave.) Indian Rocks Beach, beginning at 4 p.m., featuring live music, free food, free gear and a surfboard and skateboard give away raffle.
