CLEARWATER - Learn about crimes that target the elderly such as telemarketing and mail fraud, financial exploitation, identity theft, foreign lotteries, elder abuse, and the Senior Safety Phone Project. For tips on how to stay alert of these crimes, attend Senior Alert, a 2-hour program on Tuesday, April 17, 2 p.m., at Countryside Library, 2741 SR 580. Senior Alert is presented by Gay Wiechec, Victim Advocate Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc., in conjunction with the City of Clearwater's Office on Aging.
