PINELLAS PARK - The 6th Annual Run With the Big Dogs will be held Sunday, April 22, (rain or shine). The run starts and ends at 10400 49th St. N. in Pinellas Park. All proceeds benefit Greyhound Pets of America - Tampa Bay, FL Chapter "The Greyhound Retirement Specialists." GPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding homes for retired greyhound racing dogs. Club/Chapter Challenge - Trophy awarded to official group or organization with most "paid" participants.
Registration is from 10 to 11 a.m., first vehicle out at 11 a.m., last vehicle out at 11:30 a.m. Hot breakfast menu is available from 9 - 11 at The Lube!
Events include:
- Live music by "Red Hawk" - Missed the cut for American Idol, be the lead singer of the band.
- Poker "Walk" for $$$. 1st best hand - $250, 2nd Best Hand - $150, 3rd Best Hand - $75. $10 per hand, three hands for $20.
- 50/50 drawing.
- Get a professional photo of you and your ride.
