All Tampa Bay area Lowe's stores will host blood drives on Saturday and Sunday, May 26 and 27, to help build the blood supply for hurricane season. Florida Blood Services will have bloodmobiles on site each day from noon until 6 p.m. at the following Tampa Bay area Lowe's:
Clearwater - 26990 US Highway 19 N.
Largo - 11101 Ulmerton Road
All lifesaving blood donors will received a free T-shirt, a voucher good for two free tickets to see the Tampa Bay Storm vs. Philadelphia Soul, on June 9, at the St. Pete times Forum, a wellness checkup including a cholesterol screening, and a buy-one-ticket, get-one-free coupon, good for up to 6 free tickets at both Silver Springs, Nature's Theme Park, and Wild Waters Waterpark, plus the chance to save lives.
Generally, healthy people age 16 or older who weigh at least 110 pounds can be blood donors. Identification is required prior to donation. For further information, please call 1-800-68-BLOOD (25663).
