Tennis Tourney Is Fundraiser For Stroke Survivors

RN Lawanna Hurst prepares to take Ellen Thomson's blood pressure as part of the free stroke screening provided at the recent Morton Plant Mease Health Care Tennis Tournament at the Henry L. McMullen Tennis Complex in Clearwater. The first annual "Stroke for Stroke" tourney was a fundraiser for stroke survivors and patients at risk of stroke. Also volunteering their time to help with the screenings that day are RNs Tami Gendreau, at back, left, and Patty Farrell.
