City to Celebrate Completion of Streetscape Second BlockCLEARWATER - City officials will celebrate the Cleveland Street Streetscapes second block completion with an opening ceremony, Friday, June 15, 3 p.m., on Cleveland Street between Ft. Harrison and Garden Avenues. Representatives from the city of Clearwater, Clearwater Downtown Development Board, Clearwater Main Street Program, Bellomo Herbert & Company, and Gibbs & Register, Inc. will be on hand to lead the festivities. Entertainment will be provided. The public is invited to attend the ceremony, explore the newly completed block and support downtown businesses that are open during construction. Working Cow Ice Cream and Tony's Pizzeria & Risorante will offer free samples, participating merchants will provide giveaways and the city will be distributing specially labeled chocolate bars with coupons for downtown restaurants.
