Grand Opening of State of the Art Kitchen for Homeless ResidentsCLEARWATER - The Homeless Emergency Project, Inc. (HEP) will hold a Grand Opening Event for its new state of the art kitchen and dining facility on Friday, June 15, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at 1120 North Betty Lane in Clearwater. HEP, the largest and most comprehensive housing and service provider for the homeless in Pinellas County, houses over 270 individuals and families daily and provides over 58,000 meals each year to the homeless and low income. The public is invited to join HEP celebrate of over 30 years of service in the grand opening of this brand new dining facility This exciting event will begin with a brief tour of the facility followed by a delectable down home luncheon specially prepared by the skilled chefs at the Carlouel Yacht Club.
