First Annual Fourth of July Community Band Concert Set at the Progress Energy Center for the Arts

ST. PETERSBURG - On Wednesday, July 4th, the Progress Energy Center for the Arts proudly hosts the First Annual 4th of July Community Band Concert, featuring patriotic music by FloriMezzo Summer Wind Ensemble, followed by the City of St. Pete's spectacular fireworks display over the bay!

Admission to the event is FREE! Grounds open at 5 p.m., so bring a blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy a perfect summer evening beneath the stars in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg. Refreshments will be available at this family-friendly event. Concert begins at 7 p.m., weather permitting, with fireworks scheduled for approximately 8:30 p.m. No personal fireworks are permitted on the site; no pets allowed.

The event takes place at the new Progress Energy Center for the Arts. located at 400 First Street South in Downtown St. Pete, on the former site of the Bayfront Arena, adjacent to the newly renovated Mahaffey Theater.
