The above swimmers were spotted enjoying the water at the Long Center's Roz & Dan Doyle Center for Aquatics on a recent Saturday morning. The facility has a training pool, which is open Monday through Friday from noon to 4:45 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 8 to 11:45 a.m. The main pool is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 a.m. to 8:45 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 8:45 p.m., Saturdays from 8 to 11:45 a.m. A "Back to School Splash Party" for all ages is scheduled the evening of August 11. Cost is $3.75 with Play Pass, $5 with recreation card, $6.75 without card. For further information on the event, you may call the aquatics supervisor at 793-2320, ext. 107.
