PETERSBURG - Mark your calendar to attend Help A Child's 8th annual "Comedy for the Cause?' gourmet food and laughter gala, to be held on Thursday, September 20, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront, 333 1st Street S., St. Petersburg. To make this an unforgettable event, stand up comedian, Lou Angelwolf has agreed to entertain for the evening. He has performed stand up comedy worldwide and will focus on delivering "Comedy for the Cause." The "Cause" is to prevent child abuse and continuously provide specialized programs that strengthen and help families. Lou will make you laugh and also make you think. In addition to an evening consisting of an enormous variety of gourmet foods and laughter, guests will learn more about the work being delivered at Help A Child, Inc. and have an opportunity to meet the staff and governing board.
