New Volunteer Open House at Heritage VillageLARGO - Heritage Village is looking for people who enjoy learning and sharing the history of this area to serve as volunteers at its 21-acre living history museum. A New Volunteer Open House is scheduled for Saturday, Sept 22, 10 a.m.-noon. The Open House offers a chance to explore many interesting volunteer opportunities at Heritage Village. See what it's like to spend your time in this peaceful enclave of "Old Florida," surrounded by native pine woods and more than two dozen historic structures that tell the tale of bygone days. Help bring the Village to life for visitors, young and old. Volunteer positions are available for docents/tour guides, living history presenters, receptionists, and gift shop volunteers.
