USF exploded for 15 goals in two games against the Owls, won both, and improved their record to 3-1. The Ice Bulls won 5-3 on Friday night in Coral Springs and returned home Saturday to bury FAU 10-4. Connor Lyons led the Ice Bulls in scoring and was named the Checkers player of the game Saturday night, tallying six goals through the two games. Ice Bull forward Jeff Borges said the team responded well to the physical tone of the games. “For all the chippiness, I think we played well and kept our heads.” he said. “We put 10 pucks in the net. On Wednesday morning, the Bulls will depart from the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport for Iowa where they will participate in the ACHA division III showcase tournament.
