Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark Announces Early Voting Starts October 22 for November 6 Elections
Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark announces that early voting for the November 6 St. Petersburg and Largo city elections and the Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue District election begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, October 22.
"Some people are either too busy or have difficulty getting to their polling places on Election Day," said Clark. "Early voting and voting by mail make casting a ballot more convenient for voters."
The early voting period will run from October 22 through November 3. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Early voting is available at all Supervisor of Elections offices:
Election Service Center
Pinellas County Courthouse
To request a ballot by phone, call (727) 464-6788. The deadline to request that a ballot be mailed to you is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31. Voters may pick up ballots through Election Day. Ballots must be returned to any Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. on Election Day and cannot be accepted at polling places.
To avoid delays and extra paperwork, voters should bring picture and signature identification to the polls. Anyone without valid ID can vote a provisional ballot. A canvassing board will later determine the validity of any provisional ballots. For detailed early voting or mail ballot information, or to view a sample ballot, go to www.votepinellas.com or call (727) 464-6108.
