Moffitt Invites Community Women to 10th Annual Women's Cancer Awareness LuncheonThe Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation will host its 10th Annual Women's Cancer Awareness Luncheon Oct. 25, at 12 p.m., at The Ritz Carlton in Sarasota. The event is chaired by Sarasota businesswomen Eileen Curd and Charlene Wolf. The highlight of the luncheon will be a panel discussion by three Moffitt physicians and scientists who specialize in research and patient care for breast and gynecologic cancers. Drs. Eleanor E.R. Harris, Susan J. Harris and Paul D. Smith will report on the promising discoveries in genetics' research, reconstructive surgery, and the advanced treatment options offered by Moffitt. Guests are invited to come early from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and enjoy shopping at the boutique vendors who offer one-of-a kind items.
