Current project of the group is collecting items to send to our troops in Afghanistan in conjunction with the Help Our Troops program conducted by the St. Petersburg chapter of the Military Officers Association of America. They have mailed over 150 boxes to troops thus far. Membership in the society is open to all military widows--all ranks, all branches of service. Members meet once a month.
