After keynote speaker Brigadier General David C. Garza, MARCENT Deputy Commander at MacDill, and others, including Clearwater Mayor Frank Hibbard; Congressman C.W. Bill Young; CVAD president Bob Swick; Executive Director of the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs Rear Admiral Leroy Collins USN (retired) and Florida State Attorney Bill McCollum thanked veterans for protecting our freedoms, Honor Guards participating in the festivities formed an impressive reception line Sunday at Clearwater High School. Other highlights of the event were the presentation of colors by SOCOM Joint Services Honor Guard, the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon and aerial performances from SOCOM's parachute team.
