Prospective members were invited to join them that day for an educational session on the history, missions and principles of the organization. Kerr presented the program titled "League 101 ... everything you wanted to know about the League of Women Voters". The League, which was established in 1920, is nonpartisan and does not support or oppose candidates. It is a citizens' organization that researches issues from many points of view and takes action on issues affecting our families and communities.
