Humane Society of Pinellas Announces 2nd Annual Wag The Beach
TREASURE ISLAND - The Human Society of Pinellas has been invited back to the pristine beaches of Treasure Island for the 2nd Annual Wag The Beach. On November 17, the beaches will be opened at 14000 Gulf Blvd. to leashed dogs and their owners.
Humane Society of Pinellas is excited to share this event with the Treasure Island Chamber of Commerce. Expect to find a variety of vendors and entertainment. There will be some of the classic contests like Dog & Owner Look-a-Like, along with some new ideas. A Duck Draw will take place in the doggie POOLground. Bring your dog a towel. Prepare to get educated as well. Pinellas Animal Foundation is sending their Pet Professor and the Disaster Animal Response Team (D.A.R.T.) will be available.
Wag The Beach will kick off at 9 a.m. and close at noon. During that time you can also see a variety of adoptable dogs, have a photo taken with Santa, enjoy a Doggie Fashion Show and make Doggie Paw Print Artwork, along with other activities.
