Moccasin Lake Nature Park's Fireside Concert Series SlatedCLEARWATER - Fireside Concert Series will be held Saturday, December 8, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Moccasin Lake Nature Park, 2750 Park Trail Lane in Clearwater (Just N.E. of the corner of US 19 and Drew Street- enter from Drew). The public is invited to listen to and participate in the high energy, World Beat sights and sounds of The Sun Drummers and Dancers, featuring Nawal from The Sudan. Enjoy the hypnotic moods of the African Drums, while she shares stories, folklore and dances from the Sudan. Everyone is invited to bring along a drum or percussion instrument to play along, as well as join in with the dancers during the second half of the performance. During intermission enjoy beverages and toast marshmallows around the campfire, and for those with camping cookout skills, turn your toasted marshmallows into delicious s'mores. All the fixings will be provided. All this, PLUS one free return trip general admission receipt per person for each paid admission to the concert! The concert is held indoors during inclement weather. Admission is: 13 years and up - $5, 3 to 12 years - $3, and 2 years and under - $1.
