Photo by Sandy Fahy Kudos to Roxanne Lindquist, who was honored not long ago by the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for the 2,483 hours she had accumulated as a volunteer during the past year. Roxanne, who has put in many an hour in the gift shop at Suncoast Hospital, has also volunteered her services at the Largo Cultural Center and Largo Community Center. She was presented a plaque at RSVP's 30th anniversary celebration ... A tip of the hat to Lisa Cook, who was recently named CVS District 5's "Store Manager of the Year" ... Applause, please, for the many groups around town who participated in the recent county-wide coastal cleanup. Chapel-By-The-Sea on Clearwater Beach was among those taking part. Fourteen homes in the Old Clearwater Bay neighborhood will be open to the public during the Clearwater Garden Club's first ever Home & Garden Tour on December 1. Sue Jones, former director of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, District VIII, will be guest speaker at the December 5 Christmas Luncheon of the Belleair Garden Club.
