Clearwater Beach Chamber Elects Officers for 2008
Election of Officers took place at the Chamber's Annual Membership Meeting and Holiday Breakfast hosted by the Sandpearl Resort on Tuesday, December 4th. The Chamber's festive holiday event was presented this year by Sandpearl Residences and sponsored by: Sunsets at Pier 60 Daily Festival, Swisshelm Realty and Whitney Bank. The new officers are President Richard Vitraelli, Vitraelli & Associates, P.A.; Vice President Rosemarie Bonnington, Swisshelm Realty; and Secretary Paul Andrews, Shephard's Beach Resort. Incumbent officer, Treasurer Tommy Duff, Tommy Duff's Irish Aviation Pub, was re-elected. Past President Craig West, Whitney Bank rounds out the Executive Board of Directors for the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber presented the Beautification Award to the Gulfview Beach Resort (soon to be Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites), and the Chamber Fundraising Awards went to Bruce Szabo CPA, P.A. and Marysia Coates of Ebb Tide Suites for their successful efforts on the Golf Tournament. Guests donated baby items such as formula, diapers and food to be delivered to Religious Community Services. Officers began their new term at the close of the meeting. A mini retreat will be held in January 2008, at the Belleview Biltmore Resort for the officers and directors to kick off a prosperous new year.
