LIADO/Italian-American Women of Today 2008 Scholarship Program AnnouncedLIADO,The Italian-American Women of Today are pleased to announce its 2008 scholarship program. Each year LIADO awards $1000 scholarships to full time students of Italian or Italian-American descent graduating from any accredited High School, continuing students in good standing at an accredited college and for those returning to college seeking a degree. Founded in 1993 LIADO, The Italian-American Women of Today is the only all Italian-American women's organization in the state of Florida. It is LIADO'S objective to assist students in achieving their goals of higher education. Over the years $43,000 in scholarships have been awarded to deserving students through the LIADO Scholarship Program.
